A federal judge has sentenced Marilyn Mosby, Baltimore's former top prosecutor, to time served as well as two years of probation for lying on a mortgage application and tax return.

A federal jury on Thursday found Marilyn Mosby, a former top prosecutor for the city of Baltimore, guilty of two counts of perjury and two counts of making false statements on a loan application.

Mosby, who rose to national prominence for pursuing charges against six police officers in the death of Freddie Gray, lied about her income and the source of her down payment on a vacation home in Florida, prosecutors said.

She also lied about her husband's income and assets on a loan application to refinance her Baltimore home, prosecutors said.

Mosby faces up to five years in prison for each count of perjury and up to 30 years in prison for each count of making false statements on a loan application.
